When I first heard mmm and Emerson's version of the classic Ama no Jaku, I remember going out for a smoke and telling Emerson that I didn't quite like how he made the song sound kind of upbeat.(Sorry for that?) I was always drawn in by the melancholic guitar in mmm's earlier albums, but this is by no means a downgrade. It sounds complete - melancholic in its own way. I realize that now. I hope you two collaborate lots and lots in the future. This is a masterpiece. Sending lots of love from BR
